Questions regarding 1HZ 4.2 liter with turbo and with H55F transmission (1 Viewer)

Have several questions and any help would be much appreciated.
1: I need a new clutch as it’s slipping. Where can i find the engine number on the engine so I can get the correct clutch?
I bought the engine out of Canada (mine truck) had it rebuilt and swapped out in 2013 so don’t have much other he to go on.
2: need suggestions, thoughts. Under load going up hill I loose power, like gas isn’t getting to engine. It hesitates. I’ve replaced the fuel filter and air filter so those should not be an issue. Could it be related to the clutch slipping? My plan is to replace the clutch and see if this fixes things. If not need advice as to where to go from here. I’m in Tucson, does anyone know of any good diesel specialists?

have you checked for air leak into the fuel system. pretty easy to replace the fuel line from filter to pump with a clear hose. see if there are any air bubbles. you shouldnt leave it indefinitely as the diesel will eat the clear tube eventually but its ok for a couple months even. often an air leak will cause hesitation or rough running. from there the hard part comes finding where the air leak is coming from but easy to rule out if theres no air.
