Questions for the Spool Gun Gurus.

New to me spool gun set up my neighbor can't use due to an older Lincoln with no CV option...(he picked them both up as a used package).

Connections are straight forward, any specific settings I need on my 'ol MM Vintage before I fire this up?
And
I have 2 wire speed controls, one on the module and a remote on the gun itself (gun overrides the module setting)?

Any steering would be appreciated.

I'd do a specific search on the net about that control module - they sort of have their own setup and settings versus what the spool gun demands from what I know...

Online research has produced nothing so far, doubt I will get anything from Miller or Lincoln's tech support because of mixing a competitor's product with their own. Worth a try though.

Spot on, follow up, they are not compatible. If you are looking for a aluminum spool for your Miller in the future might want to bookmark this;

You can also get great help from Miller's tech department - they built it and know what is compatible by being cc/cv and trigger input specs .

They all do the same thing, so you should be able to make it work with a CV power source as long as it can run wire all by itself. It won't be as flexible and easy to set up as an integrated unit. You just need to get the voltage and wire speed dialed in.
