Very good point that I forgot to mention -- it has very distinguishing Oklahoma personalized plates reading:

Wow!! all that trouble and expence and forgot the front turn signal lamps...:meh:

Value

Yes, they were definitely going with the icon look.
I'm wondering if I posted in the right part of the forum b/c nobody has weighed in regarding what they think is a reasonable value range.
Can anyone help me here?

I think the photos and the video tell most of the story, but it comes with a Chevy 383 stroker motor (fuel inj.), newly installed drive train (700r4 super duty automatic tranny; Lokar shifter), ARB lockers, 4 wheel disk brakes, power steering, ARB bumper, and winch.

I know values are subjective, but I'm hoping to get some thoughts about what's a reasonable range/fair price.

If anyone can help get more thoughts or tell me if I ought to post anywhere else, I'd appreciate it.

I agree

Did you call and talk with the owner? Who was the builder? When was the restoration done?

You should probably take it to the chat section, you'll get more input there. In the cruiser world you get what you pay for. $39k and it better be perfect. Looks like a nice example but you could always get a third party inspection to make sure it's all there with no issues.

Regarding the turn signals I think it looks good without them. You can add those for $500 bucks OEM which is nothing if your spending $39k.

Looks clean. Though, for that price I'd like a matching hardtop.

And nitpicking, but I'm not a fan of the mini truck style power steering set up. I'd prefer Saginaw or fj60 style. Stronger and safer.
Also, it's missing the heater duct.
And hard to tell, but the bed liner product they used looks... Gloppy.

Thanks guys -- I went and checked it out and got a bit more info. Ultimately I was disappointed and am not looking into it any further.

For future reference -- b/c I'm sure I'll be back for thoughts when I find another one that looks to be a good match -- do you mean the "chit chat" forum?
