Hello, I have a gx470 and an 80. Unfortunately my wife backed into my 80 with the 470. Yeah ouch, but nothing terrible. Anyway I filed a claim and was thinking of putting the SS rear bumper on the 470. I see all the pricing, but has anyone paid freight to ship? Just trying to get some numbers in my head before I call them. Thanks

I bought a front and rear bumper shipped to Oregon collect. Had it put in will call so I didn't have to pay the lift gate and residential fee. That should help you a little on the freight.

I used a contract through my work, so freight cost was $133 for both. Unfortunately you are going to pay a lot more than that. Do you know anybody that works in logistics?

I do have a business, I guess I can use my account with Conway or south eastern. I just didn't know if they had there own perfered shipping. I'll just get an estimate. Thanks for the response. One more question. I have an aftermarket tow receiver installed, will that still clear with the new bumper? Thanks

Fastnal will ship between stores if it's on a pallet and according to their specs. That's how I got my plate bumper from Oregon. It was a few pounds under 100#. I don't remember the quote for shipping but nothing I found could beat the price. But it's only between stores and when they are shipping. It may be a week to a month before it gets between stores and you'll have to go get it.

Freight rates are based on volume which you probably already know. Ask SSS what their rate is. They have super good customer service. I sent them my BOL all filled out and they scheduled the PU with my carrier.

You should note the rear number is well over 200lbs and ships on an oversized pallet.

I don't think it would fit and you wouldn't want something hanging that low? Also their hitch is beefy!

@Bern ... please let me know if there is anything I can help you with ... I have a partnership with SSS and can find out the info you are looking for if you haven't contacted them already

Like @Mountain said SSS has a great customer service and we will do what we can to get our products to you as safe and reasonably priced as possible
Also the hitch is built into the bumper and substantially beefy ... as far as I know you will need to remove your curtain draw tie style hitch receiver
Please feel free to PM me if you need to
Thanks :pompous:
