First, I'm excited to be a new owner of a LandCruiser. I recently purchased a 2009 Cruiser with 60k miles in great shape. I owned a Tahoe for years which I got great use out of (215k miles) and literally had no problems. It was an awesome ride. I hope this LC gives me the same great useage.
My LC clearance seems a little lower than my Tahoe. Perhaps it's the standard road michelins that came on it which have a lower profile designed for the road. My question for y'all is this: what tires should I put on the LC that will give me good performance on hunting trips and be okay for everyday use around town? Also, what ground clearance should I get on my LC now? I'd like to measure y'alls answers against my current measurement to see if it's in fact low or if that's just my perception.
