The 40 has issues that I may have resolved before the weekend or may not. If I don't have it resovlved before Friday I will be wheelin "Woodieesque"......none Yota and if I am non yota I will have bitch seats available.
As far as camping locale, makes me no diff....go with either.
I'm not sure yet when I'm headed down, depends on some things going on at home, but will post up.
If I can get the 40 down, and the only "wheeler" is the pig. Then I might take out the 40, but I wont be doing much with it. The brakes are still damn scary! They are "ok" on road, but a steep loose decent with that wheel base? Ill be clinting!
My "non yota" is light wheelin so that might work out just fine. It won't be doing any rock climbing but should make it through the usual trails. It does have a rear locker.
Since you've seen/rode in it John, I put a 2" lift, 2" bigger tires and beefied up rear axle.
Seen/rode? Is that the word for overloading it with lots of drunk people and shotguns, and over shooting turns and flying into brush? (on private property)
BTW, I refuse to take the 40 above 50 mph, it feels how I imagine plaid feels. So all of you caravan loving mofo's, be warned.

Drove the 4runner yesterday and today. I think it's ready to be driven 100 miles to Attica, wheel it, and drive 100 miles back.
The tacoma is sitting at work. So if the 4runner pukes a bunch of gear on the way to work tomorrow, I'm just gonna drive the tacoma down strait from work this weekend.

I'm sitting at my daughter's 3rd grade music concert, can't wheel this weekend because we are having a garage sale. Have fun, seems like it should be a good time.

It looks like great weather to wheel. And there would be a whole bunch of 40s, too! I'd would go but I am flying to Colorado for 2 weeks early Sunday morning and I need to get everything packed.
