I was about to pull the trigger on a PSC SP-1200x pump when I decided to give PSC a call looking for mounting dimensions. The guy I spoke with recommended the CBR style pump they use on all their JK kits. I had never heard of this type of pump. He told me they have 50% more flow and 300 more psi than the TC, and that Toyota guys use them all the time.
They have the same mounting pattern, but are slightly larger overall. I was planning on around $180-200 for the TC, and this CBR (PN SP42332) is $275.
Anyone have any experience with a CBR style pump? I've read plenty about PSC's and TG's TC style pumps.
