I recently replaced the rotors and pads. During the process I made the decision to also replace the front calipers due to a damaged DS front caliper.

Any ideas of what I should do with the leftover PS front caliper? It's worn, but appears to be a good candidate for a reman outfit.

As many of you have found out, the supply of reman calipers is scarce/non-existent. I'd like to do my part to remedy this so others can have the option that I didn't (new Toyota calipers are expensive).

The new OEM brakes have dramatically improved the feel and performance BTW. It's no BMW, but the pedal no longer has a mile and a half of travel o_O

I wish the timing was better on this. I'm in the same boat, but opposite side. I need the PS caliper.

I just ordered Toyota reman calipers, which were really not that much more than the Napa calipers I was going to go with. I'll have one DS caliper that is working fine, although I don't think it's OEM. Pretty sure it's a Les Schwab loaded caliper from the PO's last brake job.
