I went under the truck today and i noticed that i mildly damaged the bottom most nut/bolt of the rear diff carrier. This occurred because last time i went wheeling, i pretty much was dragging the rear diff over everything. Stupid me. To prevent further damage, i was wondering if there was anything that any of you had to protect this area.

I know there is diff guard for the front diff, not sure for the rear.

Mounting a second nut over the the main one will protect the threads from minor abuse. Won't stop them from getting bent on a hard hit though.
