I have a maintenance log, but would like to deal with the propeller shaft and bolts myself. I'm looking for pics and info on lubing the propeller shaft and re-torquing the propeller shaft bolts. Would anyone be able to scan the Landcruiser 200 maintenance and what type of lube and fittings is needed.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

According to my manual the torque on the bolt to the rear drive shaft is 65 Ft/lbs. The heat insulator is 22ft/lbs.

Since I am out of warrenty, I would love to know how to grease the 'thunk' away myself also.

I should clairify it's "bolt" to the rear drive shaft flange are 65ft/lbs.

I use green grease...FWIW

I just hate going to the effen dealer for something I know I can do in the driveway.

I have a big tube of teflon based superlube I use for my Total Chaos UCAs...I'm wondering if I can just use that grease for the prop shaft?
