looks good, what are your plans for the rear tube work? I think it would look awesome is you just threw some bends in there and made the rear "bumper/gate" a halo with about a 75* angle. Like JR's Bronco...Ill go find some pics.

His has more angle than I thought, but you get the idea and it would be a nice way to wrap up the rear end with out having highly modify everything....or just tell me to shut up...on with the porn....

I like that a lot. I don't know what the plan is at the back yet. For now, Barney needs to get it rolling again so it is mobile. Then we'll think about aesthetics.

Preliminary calculations are that I could put one of the front tires 7 feet in the air, with none of the other 3 leaving the ground.

Nice, but make sure you are maintaining stability, one of the biggest mistakes made is going for flex and losing stability. Also flex IS the singe most over rated thing. *Sorry Carl* Carls old 4runner was a perfect example of TONS of flex, but extreem instability. If you have both awesome but it is rarely the case.

Adjustable limiting straps. Limit the flex to only what is usable.

Usable to the rig or to the driver?:flipoff2:

You better snatch them bitches up tight.

Says the dork that managed to spit a birfield completely out of his axle while attempting a muddy climb at the Cliffs.

wait, no conduit?

Looks nice, what made you go with the 3 link?

I guess im going o have to go to TFT this year just so I can see this thing in action.

Any idea on belly height?

Belly height is gonna be about 30".

As far as design of 4 link or 3 link... I let him pick what would flex the best. He has an enormous Ford Ranger on 2.5 ton Rockwells with this setup and the flex is just CRAZY.

Wheelbase is 117"

And, they do make conduit in the bigger sizes.

That conduit rear anti-wrap worked great for you @ the badlands Luke....I suggest you give it another try...
Or maybe some antique T.V. tray legs...

on second thought...??? why dont you go with something a bit more rigid, something solid, in fact, I have some 1/4" all thread you can use
