Hello ...

My bath it's all tempered glass everywhere .. so the shower glass it's all full of water marks .. ( drops prints ) what can I use to polish those prints ?

thanks !

David

P.S. I clean every wheel with rainX glass cleaner and it helps .. also appli rain x .. but prins are still there

A house cleaner used #0000 steel wool and a good glass cleaner to remove heavy water spots on a shower enclosure. Of course you have to take care not to scratch the glass by not being to aggressive. A water softener helps too.

I recently had great results with this:
3M Headlight Lens Restoration System 39008
First thing I would experiment with (since I have leftovers). It is safe for plastic, and may be the ticket for glass.
I would leave out the sanding and go straight to the polishing sequence...

thanks both ..

I had similar mothers product in my hand last time that I was looking for options but was not sure if could work or not ..

If you have access to a DA polisher, you can get a special pad that is meant for polishing glass:

Lake Country 5.5 Inch Glass Polishing Pad

The pad has tiny fragments of glass embedded in it. I have one for my Porter-Cable 7424 DA polisher and it does work for removing water spots.

I have the same problem with the door in my shower, it was like that when we moved in. It hasn't bothered me enough to bust out the polisher, but I might do it the next time I'm doing the glass in my car. I squeegee the door after every shower so it hasn't gotten any worse. I did try Rain-X on it the other day but it did not stop the water from streaking, so I'm back to the squeegee.

thanks KLF sounds like good option to try ..

did you use it with the Diamondite Glass Resurfacing Crème and Diamondite Glass Poli-Shield to seal glass ?

I'm looking of they have some sort of bundle with all needed products ..

All I have to add is, I had hard water spots all over the windows of my F150 that nothing was taking off.
I went to a professional car detailer, and he said he just wets the window, and scrapes every inch of them with a single edged razor blaede,....worked great

The orbital buffer, and glass cleaner work awesome.

Not polish .:?

just this ?

Bon Ami

As a kid my father forced me to use this when it was time to clean windows. We used damp cloths to apply the Bon Ami and old newspapers to rub the dried powder off. Windows sparkled after this and my arms ached!! Looks like it is still available - but they are not exactly giving it away these days. I don't know about plastic BUT on Glass I havent found anything better...

white vinegar. Living in Vegas with the hardest water anywhere if you put white vinegar into a spray bottle with a little filtered water it will dissolve the hard water stains. Let it sit n rinse. Works for me, i even use it to remove water marks from my black truck (slightly dissolved of course)
