What a delay,huh....
Liam- I'm flat out cheap so in translation, I bought this paint from Lowes bottom shelf spray paint. Hey, for 96 cents a can I figured I couldn't go wrong so I bought 6 or 8 cans and spray about 3 or 4 layers. I like the end result and to top it off it was in my price range.
Now for my delay, I rip the back of the top where the flap wraps around the bar and velco's to itself. I figured it was just a weak spot so it was good that it happen now instead of later.
Another factor for the delay was the rear section that bolt's to the inside of the outer most rear section did not fit and according to research here on mud this rear section is for 75' and later models. So, since I'm not a metal/fab guy I was advised/instructed by a fellow mud member to make a straight rear bar for the bimini top to wrap around.
I got the top patched on both sides on this rear flap (for additional strength) and mounted a straight bar for the rear and waula its look'n good....
