Hey all,

this was passed along to me by Jim Brantly (PismoJim) who will in BC to aid in support and whatnot to this event.

it seems like one hell of a race and could be a lot of fun to be a apart of the volunteer staff.
I'm considering it though it may conflict with already established plans.

Cool race, I met Jim almost 15 years ago at Pismo and what a great guy..

We arrived in Pismo one year at about 3 in the morning and Jim could hear us talking around the fire, he got up out of his tent and came out to have a few dequila(he is famous for his holster of shot glasses and booze). Hung out around the fire with Greg,Sheldon and myself...great guy.

I will also give this a lot of thought and contact him.

Hello from Squamish!

The Primal Quest adventure race is getting set up. And the organizers are looking for more communications people, ie amateur radio operators. Specifically they asked me..
Can you help recruit 2 people per day max over the course of race? And tell the other Comm peeps then send them to Marcy 512-573-5985

A couple guys from Victoria Island are heading up the effort. There are lots of remote areas with sketchy comms to cover between Pemberton and Squamish.
