It is addicting, I just bought the gas powered tmaxx from traxxas! It goes 40mph with a two speed tranny. AWD TOO! Im going to take it to Anza next time!

A couple of guys I used to work with each bought one a few years back. They would jump the in the parking lot behind our office. 5K on rc cars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I had that much money to spend I would buy some cool stuff for my life size Cruiser.

I got into it cheep by buying used, put a little money into them, but 5k is crazy! You can get aluminum everything and they even sell a supercharger for my motor! at Calico last year there was a group of those guys

Just think if everyone gets one, the next time we have a run, we could take these and have a "little run" at lunch! It would be twice as fun!
These guys had a bunch of titanium parts. I think they tried to get the best replacement parts they could. Plus they had trick glow plugs, starters, motors, etc.Giulitto said:

Reason why i sold my gas r/c car stuff. It can become addictive and you'll end up spending just as much money on those as the real thing.

Yeah I would definitely have problems controlling myself if I owned one. Man they would be a hell of alot of fun though. When I win the lottery, I am all over it.

I have a buddy who put about 5K into an RC car. You could drop it from chest level and the shocks would just absorb it all. He could jump it off of his roof.... CRAZY!
