Pre-sale inspection Sacramento California area

I am looking into a 1986 HJ61 LHD and was curious if anyone new a good mechanic or shop that could do a pre-sale inspection? Thanks in advance

My advice — if you require a professional to examine this particular vehicle prior to a sale, you have no business owning it - especially in CA. That vehicle will eventually be a headache which will require a very adaptable and capable owner to keep it running.

I live in wyoming

1. That vehicle was never sold in the USA
2. Parts were never available in the USA
3. There’s basically zero used parts available in the USA
4. No mechanic has seen that engine before in the USA

The HJ61 was an awesome Landcruiser for sure, but now 38 years later for an inexperienced owner? Hmmmm.
Maybe, but I have my reservations.

I would reach out to valley hybrids if you are still interested. They have definitely worked on rigs like this. They are in Stockton which is only about 45mins outside of Sacramento.

I know which rig you are looking at and looks like a great deal.
