Some of you should remember Bill Brutsman, ( the guy that brought his lifted Suburban out to Tuttle Creek for a Mike Sears Run a couple years back but also has a fairly unmolested 96 FZJ80). He is one of the nicest guys I have met, great stories to tell and a true gentleman. He also has the orange Hot Rod and built a teardrop trailer to tow behind it.
His cancer is kicking his butt right now. Bill has had several surgeries over the last 6 months and is not strong enough for Chemo. I talked with his wife Rene and she thinks he will be discharged in a couple of days followed by hospice care in his home. He has instructed providers to DNR so if you have a minute say a prayer that the Lord may help ease his pain and give Rene strength in her time of need.
I'm on the east coast for a little while yet and forgot which hospital she said he currently is in but will try to get that info tomorrow. If anyone wants to get in touch with Rene for coordinating a visit when he is home please PM me or contact me by cell phone.
Thanks TAC family!
