Powerstop Brake kit for '99 100 any good? (1 Viewer)

I am thinking about doing a complete overhaul of brakes. Pads, rotors, and calipers.

If so, any feedback would be great! The price is great, but I am willing to pay more if this is junk.

Search "powerstop", titles only, 100 section only, there's been a few threads on the Powerstop rotors, but I don't know that I've seen the whole kit. The OEM rotors and pads are great, most use that.

For that money you could have DBA T3 4000 series rotors and their XP pads- superior materials to powerstop

I have the PowerStop Evolution pad and rotor kits on a 2006 GX470 and a 2001 Land Rover Discovery 2. Both have been outstanding. You have to do the recommended break-in procedure that is listed on the box. I was just out this weekend in the Land Rover at Hidden Falls doing some pretty stupid trails and the brakes were awesome. If you've never driven a Disco 2 before it has a traction control system similar to ATRAC and it was outstanding.

I have the red calipers. Installed rear a year ago. Fine. Right now installing fronts. Passenger side had a piston caliper boot circlip keep popping off b4 i even used it.. I don't see it lasting 15yrs like my originals lol but less than half vs stealership.

I've had Powerstop Extreme Tow brakes on my 100 for the past 4 years or so. I am really happy with them and they keep going, still lots of pad life left. I tow regularly and they have low dust and are silent. Will buy exactly the same thing again when the time comes.
