...Seems I remember the M151 having a axle that a second axle could be added. This would be pretty easy to set but I'm afraid the Land Cruiser wouldn't.![]()
The 3rd member was designed to be used as a front or rear diff, thus a forward and rearward facing input. There is a company that builds a dual axle rear M151 they call the "stumpjumper"
You could do something like this with 2-1/2ton military rear axles... or front 5ton.
