Power Window Squeal and Pop out of Track mechanical noise when going up or down (1 Viewer)

Drivers power window: Squeal and springing “ Pop out track” Sound : what parts do I need ? Please help , I’m on a Road trip and need window secure.


Drivers side window has been squealing and slow to operate particularly cold weather for several months.


Used a dry lubricant and it performed marginally better for a while .

Now it squeals and struggles going down , the about 2/3 down makes a sound as though the glass is spring loaded and popping out of its track .

I’m not sure my words convey the sound so please play video with audio to better convey the sound:







Has anyone had this problem and fixed it ?

1. what part or parts do I need ?

2. What tools will I need ?

Tools I expect:
- trim tools
- 6 thru 14 mm sockets
- Phillips head screw drivers # x
What else ?

3. Body trim Clips that will likely be brittle and break ?
Which clios should I get preemptively ?



Hoping someone who solved this will reply to all or some of the questions above.
