I have a 1982 FJ60. I just replaced the power steering pump and belt. I lifted the front and turned the wheels to bleed the system. The wheels turned just fine while off the ground, but once I lowered it and turned the wheels, it made that squeeling noise. What might be the issue? The belt is a tad loose and I can not seem to get it any tighter. Any thoughts?

Howdy! Most likely it is belt noise. Go buy a new belt that is 1/2 - 1 inch shorter that the existing one. John

Thanks a bunch, I will give it a shot. Funny how some things that can be simple, but turn out to me more difficult than you thought. It's fun learning though. Thanks again-
