I checked in the FSM, it simply states to drain fluid, disconnect the return line, start truck, then cut off, add, repeat. So....my question is how/or where do you drain the fluid? and which line is the return? Pics would be grrrrrreat! Oh, i do know that it requires ATF fluid.

If you're going to be doing this by yourself, I'd recommend you follow my instructions at the end. I followed the FSM the first time and IMHO this is the only way to do it and not introduce air bubbles into the system.

To do it myself, I took a small section of pipe, hose clamps and a 3' section of hose and extended the return line so that came out of the engine compartment and into a bottle I had secured. The return meets the reservoir in the 'L' shaped pipe that comes in at the top of the res.

Good Luck.

Thanks for the info. I know this sounds stupid, but which is the return line? I always learn best with pics. :D

return line will have a hose clamps on the ends, the high presure line will have fittings.

Safado, what kind of PS fluid do you recommend for a 94 LC?

It's ATF. I used Mobil 1 syn. Be sure not to put power steering fluid in there, you'll really make her humm.
