Hi All, can somebody tell me the difference between 2F and 3F Power Steering Pumps and brackets. My 87 is a Euro spec with a stock carburated 3F engine. I purchased a reman pump from Foreigncarpartsonline but it will not fit the 3F pump bracket. I am confused about how to install this pump before my original one dies. Thanks, Rique.

2f pump mounts on the drivers side of the block and the 3FE mounts on the pass side of the block. Not 100% sure about the 3F but I bet it is the same. PM exiled on here, he has one. No way will 2/3FE pumps interchange.

Contact Criser dan once you know exactly waht you need; he will get it for you.

Dave, other than the bracket are the pumps similar or completly uncompatible? I dished 300 bucks for it if you know what I mean! Rique

pump outlets/inlets are side specific; no way they interchange

If what you say is correct then there must also be a difference between 3F and 3FE pumps and/or brackets. I will post with pictures to see if anybody can do a positive ID on my pump.
later. rique

Here is my aussie spec set up that sat on the right hand side of the 3F above the ac compressor.
It come out of my 73 series but it is the same as the local FJ60
exotic cruisers 023 (Small).webp
