Have all of the Land Cruisers always been made with a power antenna that goes up and down when the radio turns on, or did some come with factory fixed mast antenna?

Mine came with a manual telescoping antenna
I believe the power antennas started on the 80-series; my 60 and 62 had fixed antennas. My '97 80 has had several power antennas (they eventually die)-- and have replaced it with a fixed whip antenna. See the Tacoma mod.
