The manager at my work who is over the powerder coating and foam filling tire part of the business will blast and powder coat a wheel for $15. I wasn't sure if this was a full time thing untill now. Brian brought me his wheels to have the get the chrome removed and painted white. They look awesome and all it cost him was $85 for 5. This is open for any ONSC members.

They can also do small things like Brian's bumper off of the 40 that I did for him free for a test run. Not sure how much that would actually cost but if you talk to Bobby at my work he can work out a price.

In response the smkymntn's question Metal Buck Shot is the media used
So think about what you send me. We do steel tractor trailer wheels and i'm not sure how anything else will act in the blaster. Most likely most things will be fine.

ARB bumpers for 80's are too big to fit in the media cabinet.
My wheels on the 80 were done by him. 704-375-5005:cheers:

Let me know first if you are going to do it and when you call talk only to Bobby and tell him you are a buddy of mine.

Edit: We might be getting sold soon so I have no idea how long this can keep going on.

sweet.... now i just need to find a set of factory steelies to have widened for the pickup.

(even with an onsc membership this is still a deal btw ;) )

Is this open to past ONSC members and Current Upstate Cruiser Presidents?

For right now i'm going to keep it for ONSC members only. We do a large volume of tractor trailer wheels everyday and if I opened it up for anyone with a rig it would probably get shut down as it would detract from the main business.

But like Jason says an ONSC membership is cheap and still a huge discount over most powder coating places.

What colors are available. When  my FJ43 gets here I might bring them up from AL on a test run and wouldn't mind getting them done. I'm thinking I might want to match mine with the paint of the rig.

I hear you- I will sign up again and get more info- thanks for the opportunity.

What if the chrome wheels have rust pitting? are you able to sandblast? Let me know additional cost. I have 6 that need to be done.

I'm actually quite happy and warm when I kill.

That I don't know at this time. they only use one kind of media for the blasting and I can't remember at this time what it is.

We have pitted wheels for the trucks come in all the time but we can't actually remove all of the pitting just blast them and coat them.

I might have a few things in the future i would like to get done. How long do we think this offer will be good till ?

Should be for as long as bobby and I work for this company. But at the same time rumors of a company wide sale are in the air.

So, if I want to get my alloys off the FJC done, all I have to do is find a way to get them to you? Pony up for the $15/ea and get them back in my grubby little paws?

I guess I need to get an excuse to get down to you, once I figure out where you work and all that.

PM sent...thanks

Hey Al - is black the only available powder coat color?

Nope
from my memory, i'll have to ask bobby tomorrow to double check
black, white, gray, yellow, orange, red

Just edited my original post to say that time might be running out on this.
