The SoCal TLCA had their annual post-Thanksgiving Day Truckhaven Hills run. It was a relatively small (but eclectic) group - 4 nicely built FJ40's, 1 very clean FJ62, my 80, a Samurai, and too many quads & bikes to count! We had a lot fun and the weather was very nice. I finally got to try out my new sliders and skidplate - they worked very well! I did manage to high-center on a very small, but sharp, peak. Here's a link to the pictures: Southern California Toyota Land Cruiser Association/Land Cruisers/Southern California TLCA Photos/2008 Club Runs/Truckhaven

Take care,
JR

Nice - one of these years, I've got to get out there with someone that can remember how to get up to the phone booth...and do it!

No windy sand storms this year?

The series of photos with us parked on the plateau is at the phone booth. Otis knows the area like the back of his hand! Must be his geology training...

No wind - the weather was perfect!
