Our 8 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback "Sally", trying out the back of the HDJ81 for the first time. She has always jumped into the back of my BJ74 with no problem (although I wont let her jump out) but the 80 with 4" lift and 35's has proved to be to much. A folding ramp is on order.....

I've got two 8 yr old border collies. When we go camping I put in the platform and they ride up top. Gear rides down below. The platform is level with the bottom of the windows, and is just tall enough to fit a NATO gas can underneath.

when we aren't camping, the upper platform will completely unbolt, with the lower 'legs' still in place. 3rd row seats will flip down and clear everything.

^^^ That is a very nice setup.

No cruiser pics yet... she doesn't like it... slides around too much on the hard ass leather. So here's my dingbat in the car

@DetroitStyle:
I picked up cheap bathroom mats for the leather seats in my 80 and in my tow rig, the rubber bottom stops them from sliding around on the seats and keeps their claws out of the leather, and the carpet top gives the pup something to grab on to.
Something to think about :beer:

Before I built the platform, I would just flip the middle seats forward and he could stand with his head out the window. He loved to be able to go to any window he chose. Also, kept the leather from getting torn up from his nails.

Scooter

Here is my dog picture. Ms. Scooter is no longer with us. She got me a limit of Wild Pheasants in about an hour in 40 mph wind. Best day I will ever have in the field probably.:)

Stopped while building my drawers to take a pic of Gator, my Weimaraner. Never leaves his KONG (or what is left of it) behind.:)
