He's kinda like a dog. I took him offroading once in my old Tacoma. He did so/so.

He was gorgeous. Sorry for your loos, they are familyok, this isn't a good pic but it's the only one I have. Unfortunately he passed away before we got to take very many trips in the 80. This one was taken shortly after I purchased it. (I have a ton of him in my 40 and 60 though)

Jp in Pismo
Here's the ol' girl in Pismo waiting to get out and chomp a seagull....she never actually caught any at the old age of 14. but boy, back in the day!
I miss her somethin fierce.
The best was when she'd lean into the corners, I have some more I'll have to dig up of her in Tahoe too.

Living with my maxxer boy is the only way to stay sain.I am not sure if this one has been done or not. But, I thought it would be good idea to see what type of dogs we have. I have a GSD. He is 11 months old. I have a lower ramp for him that extends out the back gate. It helps him get in&out of my LC given I am running 38s. He is already 80lbs.
My pics will follow, as soon as I reduced them in size for posting.
Sorry to hear about your loss! It's crazy how dogs bring out the best in us, even more so when you can share experiences with them like you did!Tonight I had to say goodbye to my mate of 14 years. Sam the red kelpie was the very best of all possible dogs. He loved us unconditionally and was faithful to the end. At home he would always position himself between us and the front door so he could keep an eye on us, In the car he would ride shotgun with his chin rested on the dash and his nose pressed against the base of the windscreen. He probably imagined himself running at warp speed. He would catch a tennis ball on one bounce without fail, it never touched the ground a second time before he had it. He always knew if you were upset and a paw on the chest below a stare into his big brown eyes was all it took to cheer you up. Quickly followed by a kiss on the face. For 14 or so years he was my companion, our protector, my partner on road trips, a part of our little ohana. He will be forever missed by us, our lives are far better for having him along. Rest in peace now little mate.
