Here are 2 pics of ours we just submitted for Toyota's Dog Days of Summer Contest.

The first is of our 3 year old Irish Wolfhound named Grace.

The second is of our 1.5 year old Boarder Collie named Cody.

We also have a 7 year old Weimaraner who was too busy chasing bees at the time to get his picture taken.

I grew up with Irish Wolfhounds. We had four of them at once as my mother use to show them in dog shows. One was my dog and I would run her in field trials. She was lean and could haul some serious butt after that fake little rabbit. Sight hounds are just the coolest dogs because they fast and agile creatures. Irish Wolfhounds also make great family dogs because of their sweet nature. They are protective too. Once we had a bear on our patio at our house in New Mexico and our half Dane half Wolfhound mix and one of our full blooded Wolfhounds scared it off our patio. That was the only time I have ever seen a Wolfhound show its teeth and snarl, I guess her instinct kicked in. One day I will own another Wolfhound because they are just to cool of a dog breed.
