Kaderbacks thread got me thinking. i have had my flares off for a year and dont plan on putting them back. but i have never done anything to fill the wholes. I asked for some info or part numbers for these plugs that the wasatch guys were using but got no awnsers. anyone try anything else to fill these. something simple, clean and cheap. .......... is that too much to ask?

Stick,

Simple, cheap and effective... Metal tape, found at the Home Depot or any hwd shop, used for duct work. It's kinda like tin foil with a tape backing. If you like you can put layers on to make it thicker. To finish the job off, pep boys "HERC" bed liner, mask it off and roll it on. The whole job under 100 bucks.

P.S. This is the same method bed liner shops use, only you pay out the @ss for them to do it in prep work... LINEX, RINO ect

i know linning where the flares went is all the craze right now..... its not really me(looks good though). i dig the no flare no color change look.........

NAPA RETAINERS

I used a combo of 3 different retainers:

665-2073
665-1125
665-2391

I looked on their site and couldn't find them in their online catalog.

Got a quote from Line-X to spray mine -- $1200!!!

I got it done for $400.

If you do it your self, make sure to mask every thing off VERY well. That goo gets on everything.
