there are a couple microbrewery beers in charleston i like....palmetto ale being one of them. i will drink almost anything that is free...little more picky when I am buying my own though.

Best time I ever had with scotch was at a company compound bar in Sharjah UAE. It was a Scots engineering/construction company (Lilley) that had been in the Emirates for many years. They had many bottles of rarity and one off single malts behind the bar and the bartender gave me half shot after half shot talking about the specialities of each as we went. I don't remember leaving but I what I remember was a delightful experience.
