My trusty 10mm extractor socket finally bit the dust and I was wondering if I can simply replace the guts? I try not to buy disposable tools so if it's possible to extend the life, I'll try going that route first!

This is a 10mm stud socket extractor meant to be used with a 1/2" drive.

Thanks for your inputs.

Who is the manufacturer? I'd start by contacting them.

Otherwise, it looks like one of the three legs broke off the part in the middle left? You may be able to get a new part machined by someone.

Yup, one of those three legs broke off!

I would think that unless you can find that specific part from the manufacturer at a reasonable cost, it will be cost-prohibitive to fix it unless it's a DIY job. You could try welding it I suppose but that seems unlikely to be easy and durable unless you are very proficient. If it were me, I'd try welding just for fun if I have the time, but with no illusion that it will work, and then cut my losses and get another one.

Thanks for the ideas fellas. I'm missing one of the roller too so let me contact the manufacturer.
