I'm going to look at this soon. Any one ever seen this type of problem, besides the obvious?
In a worst case scenario, if I have to replace the front end axle etc, any recs on where to purchase a knuckle to knuckle front end?

What’s wrong with it? Was it wrecked? The pic just looks like big tires without a lift. If it needs an axle they are out there. Reach out to @arcteryx he’s in Texas.
Yes,wrecked somehow. It's being sold by an insurance co. In Texas. This pic might help show front to back in comparison.
Thanks for the intel.

That's nice low mileage truck that's got a clean build. My guess is it sells for at least $15k on Copart, probably more as it is Texas.

There's more going on with that Cruiser. The axle "might" be good but radius arms shifted over from bent panhard. More troubling is the rubber air tube between the air box and throttle body is warped like the engine has been pushed over or the air box isn't in the right spot.

However, there are some really nice parts on that Cruiser.

Edit: something else is definitely going on with this Cruiser. It might be a bent frame. ARB looks straight but isn't straight against the body (lifted and pushed back on drivers side) . Axle is offset to passenger side. Rubber intake hose is squashed (air box mounted to body but engine mounted to frame).

It’s gonna go way higher than that. Has a clean title, nice interior and parts. I would say $18,500 if not higher if there is no rust.

I have bought stuff before from copart and GSA. There has been people bidding a lot higher on stuff nowadays even if it’s not the greatest.

So it appears the vehicle was totaled by the insurance company and now they're selling it to recoup their money. If we assume the value was put at $25,000 by the insurance company and they totaled it, that suggests that the repair estimate might have been somewhere between $10-20K??

On top of what was already mentioned above, note that the left front wheel/tire may be toed outward and canted inward (negative camber). Also there appears to be something visible though the left front wheel that shouldn't be there (6 O'clock between the spokes)?

Also the top inner aspect of left front fender appears tweaked along with the other damage visible near the door.

The folded air intake tube is strange, it appears to be installed correctly with the proper length and shape for an OEM tube so IDK, improper installation, wrong part, broken motor mounts??

There's a dark line across the top of the (replacement) radiator, so is that just from something being dragged across the top tank or is that a crack??

Either way I would not bid on that without an in-person eyeball inspection especially the frame, undercarriage, drive-train, --- unless maybe it was going to sell for a lot less than the current bid.

sold for $16k

I'm sure the buyer looked at it in person. That's one of the best things about Copart, you can go to the yard and look at the vehicle before the auction.

That's a big gamble if the person who won didn't inspect it first (or have someone inspect it for him). It would be interesting
if that buyer finds his way to MUD and tells us what he found, diamond in the rough or an expensive parts vehicle.

For $16k it not a bad deal because of the clean title and if there is no frame damage. The aftermarket market parts is what drove the price up even with no lockers.
