Well, it looks like I'll be heading up to Spokane for the new years weekend. I'll be bringing along my trusty little 5'x8' trailer, so if anyone needs anything transported to or from, let me know.

As it is right now, we will be leaving early Friday 4:00 -- 5:00 am and be heading for home Sunday morning.

If I can help you, let me know as early as possible so we can arrange pick-up & delivery stuff!

Oh and mods, I hope you don't mind, I'm going to cross post this. I figure alot of guys don't wander too much out of their series fourm.... :D

What route are you taking? If you haven't tried WA 14 from the Dalles to Tri-Cities, it's worth it, just to get away from all the trucks on the Interstate. You can still do 70 mph on that stretch. If it's snowy the south side of the river makes more sense. The section from Vancouver through the Gorge is pretty slow due to the curves.

Just drove that route at Thenksgiving. I live in Spokane - look me up if you have any troubles.

Yea, I've hopped over to hwy 14 at biggs junction before, but that was when I was driving a little car that could pass the semi's. It's kind of nice to bypass Umatilla, but I think pulling a trailer, I wouldn't be able to get around the big trucks on 14.....That would suck

Thanks, I appreciate the offer! Too bad I'll be passing thru Spokane (heading to Newport), or we could have had a

Hey Nick,

I've got a handy little "Trip bucket" that I've put in the back of my 80. Got all kinds of handy stuff in it in case of emergency etc... Let me know if you wanna throw it in the back of your truck for the trip. Get me on my cell if you want.

Brad,

Thanks for the offer I was going to take you up on it, but I got a little busy last night....

I finally cleaned out my garage enough to squeeze my pickup in there, so I started the brakes on wednesday night, but didn't get to finish because I had problems with the e-brake stuff, so the "easy" brake job had to get finished last night. Now the truck stops so nice. (thanks cruiserdan) :bounce:

After that, her rig needed an oil change & lube.... and I finally installed the fancy HIR bulbs I bought from Daniel Stern a few months ago. That took a little while to make them fit.....

Then after all that, I had some garbage in the trailer that needed to go away. It's nice having a dumpster at work...

So by the time I got all done with my chores it was around 2:00 am.

Now it's almost 6:00 and we're about ready to leave...a little late....oh well....

I'll swing by your place on Sunday if we get back in town at a decent hour.

Oh yea, my sister called me last night and said it snowed up there yesterday...woohoo

Later,
Nick
