I saw that one but i heard you were supposet to tap into that vein on top of the box, next to the adjusting screw, does it matter?
i'm about to do it to what size ra did you go with i'm using a 1.5x8, where did you port your box? any pics of some ported boxes?
Did you convert your steering to GM 1 tons with a RHD steering arm and links mounted to the front of the axle? If not you might want to reconsider the 8" stroke ram and re-read Kirk's post.

A 10" ram will work as well.
The 8" ram will work with all the parts mounted up front. You may need to address the panhard axle mount as I think the mount will be in the way of the tie rod. And don't forget to re-taper the two steering arms and pitman for the correct Chevy TRE taper (1.5" per foot IIRC)
