So I have had this popping noise from inside the cab for a while now and decided to figure out what it was today. It only does it when turning and going over bumps that give it some body roll. I checked the TRE's and the knuckles and came up with nothing. Then I get my dad to come turn the wheels while I sit outside and listen and you can not hear anything outside the truck, no popping what so ever. But you can still hear it in side the cab. It sounds like it is coming from the passenger side front.

So my question is what else should I check out? Could it be the body mounts that after 255,xxx miles they have started to move and pop?

I need ideas of what to check because it is driving me nuts.

Thanks in advance

could be shackles, mine often "pop" when under a turn with roll as described

I put new grease in them this morning thinking the same thing also.

Just a guess, but if you pull back the carpet (take off the kick panel and the threshold on the passenger side) that large plastic plug where the floor slopes up under the heater is where the nut is for the body mount there. Make sure it is not rusted out or loose.
