Reading the other threads I was wondering what size tyres we ron on the 60/62s

Should be an interesting poll:

With stock springs I ran 31" also. No problems at all, on stock rims too.

With stock springs and a 1in body lift and about 1in lift from shackles I am running 33X12.50s but its CLOSE when lock to lock and full flexed in the front. I am sure brand new tires would hit.

BFG KO's under OME medium (front) and heavy (rear)

285-75/16 under stock suspension.

SOA stock springs w/ 2in cut out of front fenders and running 37in MTR's.

32 x 11.50 BFG Muds on 15 x 8 wheels.......OME Light/Medium stock gearing

was running 32 x 11.50s BFG AT on the same wheels with the stock springs fit great..........

I voted for:
31 BFG MT's (old style) current, on stock set-up.
and
33 BFG MT's (new style) to go on when I get my Alcan's on. I wanted GY MTR's but couldnt find a set cheap enough.

Havent decided if 33's will be big enough once I get my lift on, (kinda want 35's) and didnt want to regear yet, so thats why i got the 33's to go on for now.

HZJ60Guy, is that thing running already? Are you giving me a run for "Longest Buildup Ever"?! :)

It's awn, my truck's about 70% done, the mechanics about 90% done. 4BT, rebuilt H55F, Marlin Toybox and rebuilt split case are in, axles are done, she went to the exhaust place today. Body's all prepped for paint, should be done by next week.

Pickup is on December 23rd, she's going to be the best Xmas present ever! :)

Here's The Tire Deal

Originally 31X10.50s w/ no lift...got daring, measured a lil, and purchased BRAND NEW 33X12.50 Swamper SSRs...Cleared fine, rubbed on the trail only on front...once on back when i had 8 people in the rear cargo. After my 12" SOA/AddLeaf/Shackle/Arch...cleared 39.5s...never offroaded them, but could drive without rub. Currently 37s, never even close to rub on/off trail w/ flex or anything else. And I've articulated pretty good. Good considering my 12" lift has sagged to about a 10 1/2" lift now, since we did rearch the springs, but that dont last forever.
Here's one articulation pic, just front axle though.
