I'm considering this 2007 Land Cruiser that the seller has added what he claims are 2011 20" Land Cruise wheels (they look like Seqouia wheels to me). What do folks think of them? Do they retain the look of do they stray too far? I'm a little concerned with the impact on mileage and whether or not there might be wheel well rubbing issues.

Also, has anyone had issues with the rear spoiler hitting a rooftop cargo carrier, when the tailgate open? Thanks.

I just bought my 98 LC with these 20" wheels on it.
I'll be changing them out ASAP with 35" and a lift. But I'm going the expedition route. What do you want to do?

About the car topper. Just move the racks forward before you bolt the topper on and you'll have no problem with the rear lift.

From the photo it looks like clearance will be fine. 20's are hella expensive for a good tire. I'm Assuming you won't be taking it off road much. Ride will suffer a bit with the short sidewalls.

I don't have the whale wind but have found that there is a lot of travel on the rails. I can move my Skybox 18 (second largest) box far enough forward that even the whale wing wouldn't be close to touching. If you are looking at a roof rack you would potentially/probably have to remove the wing.

Thsoe are the same wheels that are optional on the Tundra and Sequoia. Now that they have the same bolt pattern as the LC, they can be put on as a dealer option or after purchase by an owner. They're not "wrong", but not exclusive to the LC, either.

I have 18" OEM LC wheels with 33" tires and find the ride to be pretty good even with Load Range E tires(large, but STIFF sidewall). A coworker has a 2010 Sequoia with those wheels and the ride is about the same for the most part, but a tad stiffer on a "bad" road.

Mine came with Chrome 20's which was the only thing I didn't like about the car. I took them off and put 16 inch LC wheels on and am much happier. I tried to trade in / sell my wheels but it's proven to be difficult due to the fact that it's a fairly uncommon bolt patter.

A good friend of mine looked at this rig. Almost pulled the trigger, but went for a 2011 instead. I really liked it when he sent me pictures, and I like it now. IIRC, the seller also has the standard 18" set? I'd ditch the 20's with tires on Craigs, and stick with the 18" set.

S6Eric, those wheels look pretty good to me. r2m, those are awful.

IMHO, ALL 20s look like someone is trying to being out their ride. I like the smaller wheel, larger tire look. But, as far as 20s go, those look all right.

I think the 20" wheels look out of place on a LC. They look OK on the Sequoia, but it's also a MUCH larger vehicle with larger wheel openings.

My thoughts exactly. It came with these.
Know anybody with a Sequoia who wants to buy mine??? ;-)

Not a huge fan of 20's, but those look decent enough. The standard 18's will serve you better if you'll be doing much driving off the beaten path.
