Pod light mounts in the rear?

Anyone know of a mount for a set of pod lights in the rear of a stock 200 series?

I tried some clamp on mounts designed for the hood ditch lights, but they won’t clamp-the metal is too thick.

I’d like to add these so I’ll have extra bright backup/reverse lights.

Add LEDs to the rear reflectors in the bumper. Thread(s) on here somewhere documenting where it was already done.

Here's a thread with some great examples. You could also enable the existing rear fog lenses to be functional lamps.

Those light retrofit’s would be perfect. I read through the thread-appears they may not be available except custom through that particular Toyota dealer.

just a thought:
I may mess around with putting this light bar mount on my rear license plate, then use the round bar pod light mounts that (also linked) to mount pod lights next to my license plate.

I’m not an electrical whiz, but I imagine I can figure out how to run a hot wire to the rear using your post regarding the switch pro, then use a relay integrated with the reverse lights to automatically turn the pod lights on when I’m in reverse.

I don’t know if there will be room to open the tailgate with the pod lights back there next to my license plate at this point though. It may end up being worth the 35 dollars or so to buy the mounts and give it a shot-it’d be a really easy way to get some cheap pod lights (which I already have) to the rear of the truck for better visibility.
