No need to change both sensors this code is for the downstream sensor. I hooked up a scanner when my Lexus came up with this some months ago and, exactly like Gumby says, the downstream sensor was fried - completely flatlined. Replaced it and never saw the code again.
Question: I seem to be replacing more O2 sensors since all this gas pricing and shortages started getting worse last year and I use whatever gas station is convenient and cheap (not neccesarily in that order). Will cheapo gas mess up your O2s? The 3FE seems to run fine no matter what you feed it.
