Gee... just cause our trucks aren't rusted out and ripe with exhaust leaks?

Water balloons? I think I can do better than that...

:flipoff2:

Had a great time at the event and thanks to the FJ's on the trail for making life easier this year. I retract my prior comment.
Oh yeah after the helicopter ride decided, I gotta have one, think some body wants to trade for one? What a blast, totally new experience. All I saw was smiles getting off the copter from everbody. Coolness.
See ya at the swap meet.

James - Thanks for getting my chair back into Rubithon. make me a copy of the video and bring it to Swap meet, if you would? Thanks!

I saw the call for carnage-repair parts, but I haven't yet seen carnage pics or heard the story. What'd you do?

My Sector shaft is twisted, my steering goes WAAAAYYYY right, which bent the ears on the knuckles, which let the tire rub on the springs, whcih tweaked the shackle, the jam nuts came off, and the threads got wasted on the shackle. The shock on the driver side tore aprat, probably because the tie rod/drag link dented the shock tube.

Additionally, the electric fuel pump was losing it's prime. This is the 4th electric. So I'm going back to a mechanical pump.

Survived another Rubithon and even managed to keep the rubber side down this year. Although all 4 wheels were not always touching the ground at the same time. Jerod Knox road with me for his first trip on the Rubicon and I even let him drive a little.
Went in on the Wednesday Wentworth Springs run. First time through this area and it was a lot of fun. Once to the Springs camped out with many of the PMCer's that were in attendance near to the Event area. Nice camp area and a short walk to the event activities. Many other PMCer's dropped by and spent some time around the Campfire. Good times.
Attached are some of my pictures from the event. You will see quite a few PMC members working the event. Tony Twiddy, the event Chairman manages to bring in all his friends to help at the event, but he knows we are glad to help, even Jeeper Ron who ended up lending a hand bringing in a group of Trucks on the Thursday Straight Through run and then splitting off from his group to get parts for Big Jim Adams.
Now for a few pictures. Only a few wheeling pictures of me are included at the post pile as some one else had my camera for a while.
The pictures out cadillac hill was at one of our resting stops while Mudrak was working his tail off fixing 2 trucks that broke knuckle studs back to back.
Other than that the exit went well although I broke a badly installed brake line to my line lock trying to keep up with Tony after observation point.

Thanks again to Paul Decker for all of the steel protection that he has built and installed on my rig. It was once again heavily trail tested.
