I have a total of four electronics type plugs hanging out in the passenger side of my engine compartment that are not connected to anything. One of them extends down almost to my front diff. Anyone know what these might be?

Sounds like the unused portion of your wiring harness where auto height control would be if'n you had a lex.

Oh. Good to know. I was wondering if the truck formerly had a nuclear power device there with an electronic machine gun attached. And the previous owner took it out. :hhmm: Thanks again. I guess it's nothing to worry about. I'm finding these empty plugs everywhere. Just found another one behind the panel that the rear diff lock switch is attached to. Who knows what that one was for. Folding mirrors???

Yep. Duck is correct. They are the AHC plugs. Toyota built one chassis for both the Cruiser and LX. Same harnesses as well. Depending on region, and options certain plugs were used, some where not used. I bet you have little AHC tabs on the upper control arms!

I believe there is one in there for the alarm chirper as well.

Do tell. I would love my cruiser to chirp when I lock and unlock it. It's silent now and if I am not at the right angle, I can't see the lights flash to see if I locked it.
