Plugging Holes When Wheel Flares Removed

I’m not a “pro”, but if it were me I’d apply it from the backside. That way there is very little to sand down, plus it seals against moisture! Maybe put a plug of this from the back, and once cured, apply body filler (tiny, tiny bit) on the outside; allow to dry, sand down, and viola! Ready for paint! Lol

I was just going to have round nodes on the exterior like op has for the time being, I think when I get the time to paint I will send them down, and then put aluminum tape and two coats of a liner. I would like it to be original black but the previous owner had already lined the flares that were there along with the base of the doors so I don't really have an option
