anyone recognize this heater hose and know the part number? Have been looking around but no luck. It's 1/2" ID with nearly 90* forms.

did you look through the spector offroad web site..../

I found out both rubber hoses are sold with the metal pipe it's attached to. I'm looking for something else of the same size and shape from other Toyota vehicles that is still on production. These hoses are way in the back by the firewall, I do not want to mess with it again in the next 20 years.

What's the production date of your FJ60? The various heater hose part numbers change a lot during FJ60 production. I don't know whether or not the part number for that hose changed. It looks like that's a hose to/from your rear heater, correct? If so, I believe it's 87245-90A04.

Anyone know of other Toyota 90* elbow in 1/2" / 12mm / 13mm ?

my metal lines are in excellent condition, no corrosion at all. I only need the rubber hose bits as PM, the old ones are still in great shape as well. All my rubber hoses are in excellent shape even my PHH is still soft and no signs of corrosion inside. Doesn't make sense to spend $200 on it.

Cripes, you still have 30 year-old hoses! Just replace them all or one day one will blow on the freeway and you'll overheat and warp the head and you'll wish you hadn't been so cheap and could have once-upon-a-time gotten away with 'only' $200...

:eek::cheers:

Lol no, I think you misunderstood. I'm replacing all the rubber hoses for sure, but don't need to replace any of the metal pipes hence I'm not willing to pay $200 for the whole assembly just to get two rubber hose. I found Toyota hose for the elbow portion though so it's all good.

Those metal pipes are all NLA far as I know, but the hoses were all available separately, at one time. Not sure about current status. @beno ?

One option, for future readers, is to use Gates 90* bent 5/8 molded hose and cut to fit. GATES 28467 Works great.

Or Gates 28470 with a really long end:

Thanks for the gates part #, definitely get some gates green stripe straight hoses for everything else.
