very close.

drop me a line somtime I know where there might be an 80 in the vicinity.

I'll be around. Probably not quite as much on Mud, but I am already trying to figure out when buying another 80 might be feasible. Realistically, four vehicles are a logistical nightmare when you have to move every three years. The Wife likes the Seq, the T100 is just to handy to get rid of, and the Camry gets 35 mpg... However, if I get orders to Japan, I will Definitely pick up an 80 while I am there. (and probably send home a bunch of JDM goodies for when I get another US 80....)

I just bought a 01 Honda Civic LX for $4900. The first day i took it for a 100 mile run up the highway. Imagine my suprise when i topped off and found I had gotten 41.3mpg! The fuel I save would more than make the payment if I had one.

Atticus has a point: It is just a truck, and the way fuel is going, if you wanted another down the road Im sure you could find a deal.

Shotts also has a point: (I just gagged typing that) Sell them both and get a 100. That way youve covered both bases.

Good luck in your decision!

Try moving 7 vehicles whenever you PCS'd. Talk about a nightmare. Have done it a few times. And with only me and the wife.

That sounds like a headache. Any great ideas to share?

Ah, the dilema that catches up with a gas guzzler owners eventually (and the gasoline 80 certainly classifies as a guzzler).

There's almost no need to say it again, but...it's a shame North America has been deprived fuel efficient, small displacement diesel 4x4s enjoyed by the rest of the world.

If you think it tough to unload a used fuel thirsty SUV today, wait a few years and, as in Japan today, they'll be almost worthless.

This is what I tell my wife:

From an economic standpoint, we are pretty much in a recession. If the value of the dollar continues to decline and faith is lost in our economy, a depression will soon follow. Then, in a depression I believe that only three things will have "real" value; Gold, Silver, and Land Cruisers!

Amen Brother

I'm having the same trouble, but I already purchased a new DD. Now I can't force myself to post the 80 for sale. Don't really know why, just love it, and the dogs do too!

I had the reverse situation. I posted it hoping it wouldn't sell, it did not and I bought the new daily.

My Wife has for the moment "forgotten" about the 80.

I want to keep it.
