Sorry for the potentially stupid question. Has anyone successfully connected an iPad/iPhone to their LC media player and played a movie on the overhead screen - the manual isn't clear on how to actually make this happen while the LC is moving. Thanks!

I haven't tried it, but I believe it would require an Apple Lightning to HDMI adaptor to a third party HDMI to composite adaptor connected to the second row center console inputs. (The former adaptor is $50 and the latter I've seen on Amazon for around $35.)
We have accomplished this with the Prestigious Society adapter (http://www.prestigioussociety.com/?page_id=604). We then run a component to 30pin cable to the iPad 2 that we use for kids videos.
