A year ago @hoser had posted that they were looking for a loaner for prototype mock-up and several local people had expressed interest but it never came to be.

Planted Seat Brackets -- Bellevue, WA

I wasn't in the market for seats or brackets but was getting front windows tinted nearby and thought I'd let them have the truck for a 1/2 day. Ended up picking up the brackets anyway (just in case) since they gave me a discount. Had them done and powder coated in less than a week. Very nice workmanship.

They're not up on the website yet but you can email Jeff at sales@plantedtechnology.com for pricing/availability.

What is this for? To swap out the seats to a different kind?

Are the base adjustable or is that in the seats?

We had Planted seat brackets in my brother's SC300 for about a year. It's a good product for sure.

They are fixed. You basically just mount seat rails on top of the base if you want to still have adjustment (slide them forward and backward).

We ended up replacing them with Bride MO brackets and rails because on that particular car, the Planted brackets were too high off the floor and greatly reduced the headroom in the car. I imagine that won't be any type of issue in a 100 series.

The only reason that I have not moved forward with this to add a Scheel Mann seat is because I am unsure if there would be any modifications needed for any airbag sensors in the seat. The sliders for the seat would be on the seat.

No, still running my 18-year-old seats with new covers. Have the brackets on standby.
If you do end up putting new seats in, keep us posted, and detail the install. I'm looking at putting some Corbeaus in

Would love a set of these. I'm not in love with my oem seats, especially for long distance travel.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but has anybody tried these with success? i'm cautious because i'm 6'3" and would like to install an adjustable seat of some sort, but i'm scared this will raise me up too high. I can't really afford $450 a piece for new seat motors and mine are done.

You can probably buy a complete seat for a fraction of that price. I'd look in the classifieds and part out threads.
