Very impressive to say the least. I can only hope and save $.

All the USA Land Cruisers are OBD compliant. This is not the case for the rest of the world. Certainly ours in South Africa are not OBD compliant and scanguage and other tools cannot read anything from the engine management system. All very strange but true (you would think Toyota would standardise one one setup).

The only alternative was thus getting the data at a lower level.

never realized overseas models did not run OBD II setups...would think would all be same worldwide.

Two nice (OEM) features to have are in this pic of yours. Too bad we don't have them as options on the US LC.

Yep! IIRC, US LX had the mirror fold, but I don't believe any US 100 had adjustable headlights.
