Since everyone is sharing break down stories I guess I will tell one that I only hinted at earlier. On the 750 mile trip home to Las Vegas my pig continued to literally squeal at a certain speed/rpm in every gear. It started on the trip out about 2/3 the way there. Instead of being able to drive 75+ mph the top speed before it started squealing was 67mph. No issues while at Rio as the trails were all easy and we were going slow. On the way home the squeal started coming at an ever increasing lower speed: 65 then 62 then 57 then etc…by the time we rolled into Vegas almost 15 hours later at 4:51am the max speed was 49mph. I don’t think it is any of the belts. No overheating but I really think it is the bearings inside the water pump. It was a new AiSIN pump from Cruiser Outiftters so less than 2000 miles on it. It was a brutal trip home taking that long, going that slow, and tapping on the hazards every time a car or big rig came whipping past us. BUT the PP was awesome!!

Sunday drive road 520 to Silverton. Ron, Greg and myself. Turned out to be a stellar find, 4 hours of bliss. Rain rivers mud holes and steep rock climbs. Tore the crouch right out of my genes.

Stoney Pass is a great trail. Did it with some Rising Sun folks a year ago and with Bonnie in our brand new ‘73 FJ 40 decades ago. Often overlooked in favor of Engineer, Cinnamon and other better known routes. Good choice!

Sorry I missed this one. Being it was soooo close. Just got my cruisers home and starting to figure out a plan. Hope to meet people soon. My last project was a 1968 vw bay window bus and before that was a 95 jeep. Time to learn a new vehicle

Dave, I have the same pump from them with maybe 1000 miles on it and Im convinced the bolt holes are off center. My brand new fancey double groove pully I needed to make the power steering conversion from my F work with the 2F swap, wobbles up and down. It's either the pully or the pump becasue it fits exactly on the pump with no play. Bought a new pully but haven't installed yet. Got some stuff to fix after the trip so im guessing this get thrown in. Ill keep ya posted.

After 20 days since I placed my order and a few days of USPS tracking going nowhere, this finally arrived! If all goes well this will fix the problem and I’ll be back on the road.
Thanks for the offers of others to help!
Looks like I’ll have a spare to throw in for the next time or if anyone needs one.

So far it's seems to have solved my issues.

Thanks!

As many of you know, I will make a video of pictures and videos from this pig party. If you have any pictures or video that you would like to submit you can message me on here. I may or may not use all of it, but I will try to make it interesting.
Great, thank you for doing this!
