Since everyone is sharing break down stories I guess I will tell one that I only hinted at earlier. On the 750 mile trip home to Las Vegas my pig continued to literally squeal at a certain speed/rpm in every gear. It started on the trip out about 2/3 the way there. Instead of being able to drive 75+ mph the top speed before it started squealing was 67mph. No issues while at Rio as the trails were all easy and we were going slow. On the way home the squeal started coming at an ever increasing lower speed: 65 then 62 then 57 then etc…by the time we rolled into Vegas almost 15 hours later at 4:51am the max speed was 49mph. I don’t think it is any of the belts. No overheating but I really think it is the bearings inside the water pump. It was a new AiSIN pump from Cruiser Outiftters so less than 2000 miles on it. It was a brutal trip home taking that long, going that slow, and tapping on the hazards every time a car or big rig came whipping past us. BUT the PP was awesome!!
