I have a 1969 FJ55 for sale
Condition is ..... Running! Yay
Built in the sunny month of july,
at the Yoshihara Plant in Japan
Location is Missoula MT
Some of the body is good, the roof, hood, some of the doors, the front grill and upper body are just fine. The rockers are pretty much gone, the rest falls somewhere in between. The glass is all good with no cracks or chips. The engine is the original F and runs. The carb needs a bit of cleaning and TLC. Transmission is three on the tree, 4 wd works, low range works. The brakes don't work, I think they just need a bleed. Wheels appear to be stock. Bring yer own tires. Fuel tank sat a long time with old gas in it, I drained it but didn,t replace the lines. The fuel pump works fine. Overall this is not a drive it home type of deal, unless you want to spend a couple of days working on it. To drive it home you would need 4 tires(I know where to get good used tires here fairly cheap), a fuel source(you can have the 5 gal can I am using) and maybe a few bulbs and wires for the signals.
I shall not ship or otherwise transport it, but I will help you load it if I am home.
The price Is negotiable, Make me an offer......or a trade.
I would accept all sorts of stuff in trade, I could use a winch for my FJ 40, or a good spare/highlift carrier bumper for example. Special bonus If the winch is a Hicky Sidewinder(working). I am also a gun nut, any wwII firearms especialy but all guns considered. Tools are always welcome.
